Brum brum party whuuuuut?

Went to visit some friends Saturday in Birmingham, had such a laugh, and you brummies are such a friendly bunch ain't ya? (P.S. if you were the cute tanned girl who held my hand on the train (from way longer than you needed to,to keep your balance) please get in touch, your hand were warm and soft XD ha!.

I had hoped to have photographic evidence of a night well spent for you, but it would seem my friend Laura has not been granted permission to upload them yet (due to the girl on girl smooches) or is just too damn lazy (or more likely busy XD) to upload them.

Eddies was a fantastic drinking Establishment 3 room ranging from mainstream metal to the dungeon downstairs playing industrial rock and goth metal get in tharr!.

Also if you were the friendly girl who asked if she could sit next to me at subside, i replied you can if you want but theres not much room so you promptly sat on my lap - thanks!

Its friday and i'll party if i want to

so its Friday again, good weekend planned i wanted to get a weekends writing in, as this music stuff is not going to write its self. How ever I'm required to have a few drinks in Birmingham this weekend, and of course i would not want to disappoint.

Had an offer for photography from a model, who asked me if i was looking for work. (which I'm not actively seeking right now.) However she came up with an idea of doing several collaborations together around several themes in a avent grande style, which really got me going so i accepted.

Its going to be a fucker fitting that in with the writing, but i figure the sooner i finish writing the soon I'll have to find a band to perform with.

Birthday came and went thoroughly enjoyed it even if my friend Jen went to muse without inviting me, but we'll let her off,i guess.

I feel really driven to do some of the things i always wanted to do another project i wanted to work on was my old T shirt business, the thing is i do feel I'm taking on too much, but i guess i will never know unless i try.

Waking up in the morning

I couldn't imagine a day in my life with out it i wake up put some music on the t.v., on the way to work cd's in the car at work either the mp3 player/blipping to my listeners or like now a bit of rock radio. i think i would just be a zombie without it.

Music wise? my Dad got me into rock, like Zz top, Alice cooper etc from a very young age. My cousin introduced me to the cure at the age of 6/7 i love the music and hair styles and if im honest still do to this day.

Time travel and over thinking-ness

If you follow me on twitter you'll know that i sometime suffer from periods of little sleep and that when i do fall asleep I'm woken after next to no time by a weird dream.

Well last 2 nights are the start (and hopefully the end) of one such period.

Last night before dropping to sleep, i was think about time travel, not as in if or how you achieve it.

It was more along the trail of thought, that, if i accidentally or even intentionally achieve the feat of time travel and went back to a time i previously existed what would happen?.

The reason i ask this question is no one can tell em I'm wrong in what I'm about to say because no one knows.

but presuming the existence of a soul, my soul has always and will always occupied my living flesh and body right?

well in my logic and theory because my soul is in control of my body then i would also be able to control the body of the past me correct?

or is time less linear than we think and that your soul only control the body for an given instant? lets say for a heart beat then moves on?.

then say this is true and your soul controls the body for the instant that your in then that would mean another soul in the past you and thus you cannot control bot body's?

i have another over thought off shoot of this but i cannot think of a way to describe it

as humans even if we to the period of life that we were most happy with and it stayed like that forever, would we be able to handle it? i mean i sometime feel everything is too samey and stagnant, so even if it was the period of my life i was happiest with i think i would get bored a resent it, i agree with the statement about but i don't feel its a bad thing

Politics, waffles and strangers!

So the last week or more people around have been turning the attention to the U.K. local elections and the European election. The results are all in and people analyse them, terms such as a “wake up” vote and several petitions have been set up for reasons i couldn’t care less about and others do saying they should have voted in the first place.

Its fair to say many people have lost interest or faith in the whole thing what with the expenses “scandal” and the fact Labours government is very much like the titanic, in the sense that there's not enough life boats so people cant get off quick enough.

 

I, however happen to think voting and  the major 3 parties are alot like my breakfast this morning, i had waffles waffles on there own are tasty but dry, a bit like how i feel about the polices of ALL the major parties, i can find things that i like from but with all the parties there's a horrible dry  after taste.

Now like my waffles this morning, if one of them could “sweeten” the deal with a “maple syrup” or “chocolate sauce” policy the rid me of a horrible dry after taste, then like my waffles this morning, i would take to them like a mad crazed supporter, alas i think as a friend put it yesterday “A case of choose the least worse.” Grammatically poor i know but still serves as a fairly good point. Still, what do you think? are we ready for a general or should we ride it out for a little longer? is old borwnie just clinging on to number 10 for as long as possible? or does he really deep down truly believe he can turn this around?. Don’t get me wrong i voted for them in the last G.E. but old tony B must be sat outside his Caribbean beach hut with a strawberry dackery and a smile as wide as the channel tunnel thinking, good luck gordy-boy. Anyway enough now i feel like i’ve milked this to death.

Sleep and first postings

So I'm not really that good at keeping up with these things, but I'll try anyway.

Anyway so I'm not sleeping all that well lately, have one of those periods where as soon as the lights go out my brain decides to go in to over drive.

If i manage to fall asleep i have the weirdest of my life, I have a pretty good imagination at the best of times, but lately, when let of the leash its going crazy.   

Like last night, 3 times i fell asleep. 3 times i dream, so i will tell them to you.

Dream 1

I’m sat on my bed with a female friend, watching something on T.V. i get a text message from a close friend who asks me to meet him down at the docks (i live as far away from water/docks as you can get in England.) For some reason i don't think it as a strange request and said female friend tags along and we head out to the docks. Once there the friends goes mad, me and previously mentioned female run in different directions to escape. I think i have escaped so to save some energy my pace slows, but a loud bang from behind makes me dart around a corner and i slam into some one hard and freeze.

i look down and have ran right onto the end of a knife which has hit me on the left side between  my bottom 2 ribs (this confused me,but research it this morning before work to find out that this was allegedly a technique used by stealth assassins, it perforates the diaphragm allegedly deflating the lungs killing the person with out noise.)

as I'm fading to the ground i look up to see a girl that i used to go to school with,that until last night haven’t given a passing thought about since leaving school and she has a wide evil smile, then right on cue i wake up.

if anyone is good at interpreting dreams and its not freaky let me know what that means! and  i shall probably do dream 2 tomorrow =p.
